As informed in April we have now introduced a fuel surcharge starting from 1 May 2022. It has been calculated using Statistics Finland’s March price index for light fuel oil that is 217.8. For comparison in 2021 Q1-Q3 index was 104.9.

The percentage of fuel from total costs varies from one unit to the next, which is why we will use two different surcharges beginning from 1 May 2022:

• for Container Operations 5.1 %

• for Ro-Ro and Break Bulk 3.6%

In the future, the fuel surcharge will be published monthly on Steveco’s website.
