In Kotka, Steveco has port terminals at the Mussalo and Hietanen harbours. Steveco’s container and bulk operations are concentrated at Mussalo, while Hietanen takes care of regular liner traffic.
Mussalo, the leading container port in Finland, offers a full range of container terminal services. Steveco annual handling capacity at Mussalo terminal is approx. 750,000 TEUs of containers.
Our bulk terminal has facilities for taking care of Panamax class vessels. We annually handle about 1.7 million tonnes of dry bulk products for import and export clients. We also carry out project shipments for the heavy engineering industry and operate various lolo cargoes, such as railway rails.
